COFFEE IS GOOD FOR YOU !!!
Yes Boys and Girls, all you Coffee Lovers out there, it’s True, Coffee is Good for You. Ye-Ha! Don’t you just love it. You might have heard from time-to-time that coffee is not good for you, bad for your health. Not So, but just the opposite, Coffee is Good for you. Coffee is High in Antioxidants, which can protect against damaged cells and reduce your risk of chronic disease including Diabetes, Heart Disease, and Strokes.
Now this is really good news, Great News in fact, the prevention and reduced risk of getting Heart Disease, Diabetes, and Stoke is major, and anything any sane person should be ecstatic and rejoice over, “I am.” Coffee can help prevent Alzheimer’s and Parkinson Disease. Awesome!
Just remember, moderation is the key, too much coffee can cause nausea, jitters, and a rapid heart beat. It is safe to drink up to 5 cups a day, if you start getting over 8 cups you may have problems and adverse side affects. So remember, enjoy your coffee, you can love it, but stay moderate and it will love you back. As for me, I just love and adore my morning coffee. I usually have a second cup in the late afternoon, but hardly ever after 4 PM and I’m finished for the day, until my next glorious morning cup to start another day, my Coffee, in the Cafe, the newspaper and I’m set, Buon Giorno!

The Dude’s PUMPKIN PIE CHEESECAKE

DUDE’S CHEESCAKE FACTORY PUMPKIN PIE CHEESECAKE
RECIPE :
For the Graham Cracker Crust
30 Graham Crackers
5 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
2 Tablespoons White Sugar
For The Cheesecake Factory Pumpkin Cheesecake
16 Ounces Cream Cheese, Softened
½ Cup White Sugar
½ Cup Brown Sugar, Packed
(1) 15 Ounce Can Pumpkin Puree
2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
1 Tablespoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
16 Ounces Heavy Whipping Cream
PREPARATION :
- Crush graham crackers using a plastic bag and a rolling pin (or a food processor if you have one).
- Stir in sugar, and melted butter.
- Grease a 9 inch cake pan or springform pan. Press graham cracker mixture into the bottom. Refrigerate for ~30 minutes or until set.
- In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and smooth.
- Stir in pumpkin, vanilla, and pumpkin pie spice until fully combined.
- Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. (I used an ice cold bowl/whisk, but a mixer would work as well).
- Fold into pumpkin cheesecake mixture.
- Spread evenly into graham cracker crust.
- Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until set.
- Garnish with additional whipped cream if desired.

Green Bean Casserole Recipe
The Classic GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE
CAMPBELL’S SOUP RECIPE
Created by Campbell’s Soup employee Dorcas Reilly
RECIPE :
1 can (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup or Campbell’s® Condensed 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 dash black pepper
4 cups cooked cut green beans
1 1/3 cups French’s® French Fried Onions
Preparation :
Step 1
Stir the soup, milk, soy sauce, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cuponions in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Step 2
Bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the bean mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining onions.
Step 3
Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
Recipe Tips
For the cooked green beans: Use 1 bag (16 to 20 ounces) frozen green beans, thawed, 2 packages (9 ounces each) frozen green beans, thawed, 2 cans (14.5 ounces each) green beans, drained or about 1 1/2 pounds fresh green beans for this recipe.

Got Any Kahlua / The Collected Recipes of the Dude by Daniel Zwicke is the most BROMANTIC Cookbook I’ve ever read. This is not your mom’s cookbook, and it certainly isn’t your grandma’s cookbook. You are more likely to find recipes for saucy meats and cocktails than you are to find some fancy chicken cordon bleu because this book is a DUDE’S cookbook. Never in my life has a cookbook made me laugh until I read this one. I can almost see my hick, bro, burly, manly uncle writing this one. It just SMACKS of masculinity and a lack of culinary skills which is impressive. This is a book for those on a budget, for those who aren’t really that picky when it comes to calories and a balanced diet as long as it’s tasty and full of meat or alcohol. I enjoyed it so much that I read it in one quick sitting!
Daniel Zwicke knows his audience … Dudes. Like I said, there are cocktail recipes up the Wazoo, most of them variations on quotes; The Dude’s quotes; favorite varieties of White Russians. I had the opportunity to try these dude-friendly drinks when making them for my fiance’s POKER NIGHT , and let me tell you, they were a smash hit! While this isn’t a traditional recipe book, it’s got a lot of hidden gold in there and it’s spelled out in a way that is easy for guys to understand. There’s no complicated, ten thousand step process for each meal and/or recipe. It’s all, quote ; take a can of X ingredient, add a chopped cup of Y ingredient, and there you go! quote; I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, and have saved a copy in my recipes folder in case I need more dude-friendly drinks and meals for my hubster-to-be!
